Cala Lodge Monteverde, Monteverde

I was truly impressed by the made-to-order breakfast during my stay at Cala Lodge. Each morning, I enjoyed fresh fruit, pancakes, and their local specialty dishes. The homemade jam was a good addition that I looked forward to every day. It was a perfect way to start the day while watching birds fluttering around the dining area, providing a picturesque ambiance.

I stayed in a spacious room with a lovely balcony that offered amazing views of the surrounding cloud forest. Each morning, I was greeted by a chorus of birds right outside my window. The comfortable furnishings and the attention to detail in the room made my stay incredibly enjoyable. I was glad to have a cozy space to unwind after a day of exploring.

The bathrooms at Cala Lodge were impressively modern and spotlessly clean. I appreciated the large shower with excellent water pressure, which made for a refreshing experience after long nature walks. The availability of organic toiletries added a nice premium touch that made my stay even more enjoyable.

One of my favorite moments at Cala Lodge was the afternoon tea and snack time from 3-5 PM. This provided the perfect opportunity to relax after exploring, all while enjoying fresh coffee, tea, and a variety of sweet treats. The serene environment, with birds singing and butterflies fluttering around, made it a beautiful way to unwind and appreciate nature.
